This Privacy Policy describes how Video Downloader Browser Vault ("we", "us", or "our") handles user information and data when you install and use our Android application (the "App"). We are committed to maintaining the highest privacy standards and full compliance with the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and Google Play User Data Policies.

1. Information We Collect & Data Safety Disclosures

Our App is built with a privacy-first, local storage architecture. We do not operate external user account databases, nor do we sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

A. Local Device Data (Not Transmitted to External Servers)

• Browsing History & Bookmarks: Your web browsing history, open browser tabs, and saved bookmarks are stored locally on your device in secure Room database storage.
• Secure Vault Media & Passwords: Videos saved to your Private Vault, PIN hashes, and 8-letter recovery codes are stored in isolated local app storage (context.filesDir). They are protected by local encryption and device biometric hardware. We have zero access to your Vault files or PIN.
• Download Files: Downloaded media files remain on your device in your designated storage location (Private Vault or Public Downloads folder).

B. Third-Party SDK Data Collection (Required for Ads & In-App Purchases)

To provide free app features and process premium subscriptions, we integrate trusted Google SDKs. These SDKs collect data directly from your device as outlined below:

• Google AdMob (Advertising): Collects Advertising ID (AAID), device model, coarse location data, ad interaction data, and crash/diagnostic logs to serve banner, rewarded, and interstitial ads.

• Google Play Billing Library: Processes purchase tokens, product identifiers (e.g., pro_monthly, pro_yearly, pro_lifetime), and transaction verification to unlock Pro features. Payment details are processed exclusively by Google Play.

2. User Data Rights & 1-Click Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data. You can inspect, modify, or permanently delete all locally stored data at any time directly within the App:

• Clear History: Go to Settings ➔ Clear History to delete all browsing history and search logs permanently.
• Clear Browser Data & Cache: Go to Settings ➔ Clear Cache to erase all web storage, cookies, and cached data.
• Delete Vault Videos: Enter your Vault, long-press to enter multi-select mode, and tap Delete to erase files permanently.
• Uninstall App: Uninstalling the App immediately removes all private vault files, local databases, and app settings from your device.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Play Families Policy)

Our App is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older (or 18+ where required by law). We do not knowingly target, solicit, or collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with data, please contact us so we can take immediate action to remove it.

4. Terms of Service & Copyright Obligations

By installing or using this App, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

• Independent Browser Utility: This App is an independent web browser tool. It is NOT affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), or any other third-party website or platform.
• Copyright Responsibility: All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property belong to their respective owners. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have legal rights or owner authorization before downloading, storing, or sharing any media content.
• Prohibited Use: Downloading copyrighted material without permission is prohibited by law and violates our Terms of Service. This App does not support downloading content from platforms where downloading violates their Terms of Service.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright Inquiries

We respect intellectual property rights. If you are a copyright holder and believe that content accessed via our browser infringes upon your copyright, please contact the host website or content provider directly.
